Frequently Asked Questions about Naturalis

Is CBD legal in the UK?

Yes. There is a lot of confusion around the law, given that there is a lack of clarity around the legality of cannabis. CBD products are not considered controlled substances, therefore there are no restrictions on their use.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the chemical in cannabis that can cause the high that people expect from recreational use. If the THC content in a CBD product is over 0.2%, the product is considered a controlled substance. All products from Naturalis offer the highest quality and the purest possible CBD content, with a THC level of less than 0.2%.

Is CBD safe?

Many studies suggest that CBD can help to remedy a range of ailments. CBD itself is safe, as long as it is procured from a trusted source; many poor products contain THC and this has the potential to have negative impacts on users.

Of course, some methods of taking CBD have higher risk than others. Vaping has been associated with some health risks, so it’s important to properly assess the risks and benefits associated with your chosen method.

Can CBD get you high?

No. There are 113 identified cannabinoids in Cannabis plants. One of these cannabinoids is CBD; another cannabinoid is THC, which causes the classic psychotropic (‘high’) effects associated with recreational cannabis use. All our CBD products are manufactured to remove THC and rigorously tested to ensure that they contain no THC, or other psychotropic compounds.

What is the appropriate dosage for CBD?

Dosages are measured in milligrams (mg) and the appropriate dose will vary between individuals and the route that they administer the CBD. Many users suggest that a dose of between 10 and 20 mg (administered once or twice each day) is sufficient to provide relief to a range of ailments.

What are the health benefits of CBD?

Many users of CBD report that CBD products offer pain relief for a variety of ailments, while also helping to treat chronic sleep issues. Preliminary clinical research into the therapeutic use of CBD shows potential benefits in conditions such as anxiety, epilepsy and other neurological disorders, but further research and clinical trials are needed refine these benefits for clinical use.
